TTTC Instructional Terminology or Teaching Modalities

TTTC has intentionally created specific instructional strategies to ensure you get the most out of your educational experience while enrolled in your program. Below are the definitions of the various instructional delivery methods.

  • CLASS - in-class instruction
  • ONLINE - distance instruction
  • HYBRID - combined instruction

Bear in mind, in some courses, one activity may be delivered online while another activity is in-person, so an online, or hybrid designation as the instructional delivery method for a course does not necessarily imply that all the course elements are fully online. For example, a course may have an online lecture, with the lab component conducted on campus.

Additionally, there are Synchronous and Asynchronous delivery components:

  • Synchronous distance delivery means students attend classes virtually in 'real time' with instructors and classmates.
  • Asynchronous distance delivery means that students and instructors do not meet in 'real time'. There is no live video lecture portion of the program.
  • Students in a program or course that is delivered asynchronously may move through assignments at their own pace, supported by online resources such as recorded lectures, reading material, assignments, and discussion groups.

Online

If you're interested in Lighting, Modeling and Texturing 3D Assets for Film or Games from anywhere in the world, our global online campus is the place for you.

Campus

Joining us in person puts you in the heart of the industry, and allows you to pursue a wider array of skills such as Animation, VFX and Compositing.

Hybrid

 Like Online, Hybrid students focus on developing 3D Assets. The upside? You'll build a specialized portfolio alongside your industry mentor in person.

Think Tank Programs

All prices are CAD. Use conversion calculator to estimate tuition fees in your currency

  • A non-refundable application fee of $100 or $200 (depending on program) is required to submit your application.
  • All applicants must demonstrate English language proficiency, either through previous education in English (e.g., secondary or post-secondary studies in a country where English is a principal language), or submission of valid English language test scores (we recommend the Duolingo English Test with a minimum score of 95 or IELTS with a minimum score of 5.5.
  • All students are required to enrol in the GuardMe Student Support Program (GMSSP), which provides 24/7 confidential mental wellness support with culturally and linguistically matched clinicians. This service is mandatory and billed at $5.00 CAD/month.
  • In addition, there is a one-time $10.00 fee charged for the uploading and permanent archiving of the student’s academic record with the Private Training Institutions Regulatory Unit (PTIRU).
